In most years, Spring and Autumn visits are arranged to historical sites in the vicinity of East Meon. A specialist guide leads a group of between a dozen and 20 members and guests.

Locations we have visited include the Hampshire Record Office in Winchester, the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, Butser Ancient Farm, Chawton House and Jane Austen’s House, the Mary Rose and Royal Navy Museums in Portsmouth, D-Day Control Room at Southwark Park, Uppark House and Fishbourne Roman Villa, while we have walked around the Arts and Crafts buildings of Bedales School and Steep, and Froxfield Entrenchments.

Notes and photographs of some visits can be reached through the sub-menu: Weald and Downland, Mary Rose Museum, Butser Ancient Park.
