- Films were shown in East Meon during and after World War II, and since 2006.

- The morning after the catastrophic fire which destroyed Westbury House in 1904. Report from The Times.

- This model illustrated the likely layout of the village at the time the Domesday Book was published. It was created as part of a Domesday exhibition held in 1986 in the Great Hall in Winchester.

- In 1993, East Meon introduced a new type of village fair, which reflected countryside activities as well as featuring spectacular displays such as these young bikers jumping through burning poles.

- Erecting broadband aerial at Ye Olde George Inn in 2002. East Meon was the first village in Hampshire to introduce a broadband internet network.
